A simple 8-week plan
- Week 1: BaselineTake a mock cold. Note your score, attempts and accuracy for each section.
- Weeks 2 to 4: FundamentalsArithmetic and algebra in QA, one RC passage a day, two DILR sets a day.
- Weeks 5 to 6: Mock rhythmTwo mocks a week. Spend twice as long analysing each mock as taking it.
- Weeks 7 to 8: SharpenPrevious papers under exam timing, set selection drills in DILR, and rest before the exam.
Why the marking scheme changes your strategy
In multiple choice, each wrong answer cancels a third of a right one. If you can rule out two options, a guess has positive expected value (+1 on average). With no options eliminated it is exactly zero.
TITA questions carry no penalty at all, so you should never leave one blank if you have any answer.
